Every player who wears the B.O.S.S. name is representing a standard that was set long before they arrived and will continue after they move on.

 

That responsibility is part of what it means to be a B.O.S.S. Lion.

Player Development

 

Skill development is not one-size-fits-all across ages 7 through 12. The table below shows how the L4 Formula scales as players grow — giving families a clear picture of what to expect at each stage, and how today's practice connects to next year's progress.

Introduce all four pillars at a fun, high-repetition level: proper throwing and catching mechanics, basic hitting stance and contact, understanding of bases and simple game situations, and first exposure to team communication.

8U

Build consistency in fielding footwork and throwing accuracy, introduce situational baserunning (leads, reading the ball), begin developing a repeatable swing, and start holding players accountable for effort and attitude, not just results.

9U

Expand defensive responsibility by position, introduce real plate discipline (recognizing balls and strikes), teach situational hitting including the bunt, and give players their first specific leadership responsibilities in practice.

10U

Sharpen mechanics across all four pillars with more individualized coaching, introduce pitching fundamentals for players stepping onto the mound, deepen baserunning IQ (secondary leads, anticipation), and expect consistent in-game communication.

11U

Increase competitive intensity and situational complexity, refine hitting approach (count recognition, pitch selection), expand defensive versatility, and hold players to a higher standard of accountability and in-game leadership.

12U

Prepare players for the jump to the next level of competition: advanced situational awareness, full ownership of pre-pitch reads, refined mechanics across Leather/Lightning/Lumber, and demonstrated leadership both on the field and in the dugout.

 

PROGRAM FEE POLICY

1. Program Fees & What They Cover

B.O.S.S. Baseball LLC believes in transparent pricing without 'surprises'.

B.O.S.S. Baseball LLC charges a monthly program fee of $250 per player. This fee reflects our investment in professional coaching, structured development, and season-long program operations.

 

The monthly fee includes:

  • 2-3 practices per week
  • 1 speed & agility session
  • Insurance
  • TeamSnap team management platform
  • Coaches
  • Baseballs and team equipment
  • Winter workouts

 

Parents are responsible for:

  • Uniforms
  • Travel expenses
  • Optional camps

 

2. Pricing

Monthly program fee per player is $250 per month.

**Tournament fees are $50 per tournament** 

A Sibling Discount of 10% per additional player enrolled in the program.

 

3. Annual Registration Fee

A one-time registration fee of $300 is charged once per season and includes each player's uniform kit and season insurance:

  • 2 jerseys
  • 2 pairs of pants
  • Hat
  • 2 Belts
  • 2 Pairs of Socks
  • Practice shirt
  • Insurance

 

4. Sibling Discount

Families enrolling more than one player receive a 10% discount on the monthly program fee for each additional sibling. The oldest or primary-enrolled player is billed at the full rate; each additional sibling’s monthly fee is reduced by 10%. This discount applies only to the base program fee and does not extend to equipment, uniforms, or tournament costs.

5. Payment Plans

Monthly program fees are due on the 1st of each month for the duration of the season. Families needing an alternate payment arrangement (e.g., quarterly or seasonal lump-sum payment) may request one in writing to B.O.S.S. Baseball LLC prior to the start of the season.

 

Approved payment plans are subject to the same total program fee; no additional discount applies for alternate payment schedules. Fees are non-refundable once a season begins, except as outlined in the program's withdrawal and refund policy.
